As a result of my work on Optik Direct homepage website design, I was asked to create a nautical feeling home page for a Gourmet Baskets company. They cleverly sold tailored hampers for all sorts of occasions. The idea feel and ultimate visual simply came from the client wishing to have a nautical theme. It almost designed itself. The alternative was rather similar to what you may expect from a gift basket company, however I think I've given it a freshness so relevant in internet design.
