I have much to be thankful to M5. The opportunities, knowledge and experience I gained there continue to this day. Evan Winkle and John Wilcox , both associates with the firm had faith in my abilities thus offering me those opportunities. I initiated, designed and detailed the Oasis light fittings perched on each of its four corner poles. At a later date I was approached by a lighting manufacturer to design further light fittings for them. At the height of the high-flying eighties I was given multi-million dollar projects to work on. I was 19 years of age.     Alan Bond, first official guest at the Sheraton Mirage, loved the surrounds so much he requested a replica poolbar made at his luxury Perth residence.
