Sizes

T-shirts are available in a number of sizes, as defined below.

Please note that all sizes are US sizes, not Australian or European sizes. PLEASE CHOOSE SIZES CAREFULLY. Once an order has been placed, with in-full non-refundable payment given, the process is accepted as complete. This is out of our control... although every effort will be taken to advise whether an opportunity exists to cancel the order.

The Adult Beefy-T sizes compare well with Australian sizes, although women ordering the Adult Beefy-T style may find the t-shirts to be slightly larger than they expect.
The Women's Scoopneck T is a fitted t-shirt and tends to be slightly smaller than Australian women expect, i.e. a Scoopneck M may be smaller than a typical Australian M.

Adult Beefy-T 6.1 oz. fabric made with 100% cotton ring-spun yarn.
  Double-needle coverseamed neck.

Women's Scoopneck T 6.1 oz. fabric made from 100% ring-spun cotton.
  Soft, stretchy combed cotton 1x1 ribbed knit.
  Tapered body for close, feminine fit.
  Shorter fashionable sleeves.
  Side-seamed.
  Double-needle stitched binding on scoopneck and sleeves.
  Double-needle bottom hem.

Youth Beefy-T 6.1 oz. luxuriously soft fabric made with 100% cotton ring-spun yarn.
  Double-needle sleeve and bottom hems.
  Taped neck.
  Preshrunk to minimise shrinkage.

Long Sleeve Beefy-T 6.1 oz. fabric made with 100% cotton ring-spun yarn.
  Double-needle coverseamed neck.
  Shoulder-to-shoulder tape.
  Double-needle sleeve and bottom hems.
  Preshrunk to minimise shrinkage.


Additional notes:

* All measurements are indicative only. T-shirts vary slightly from each other.
* Women's Scoopneck Ts stretch significantly in the horizontal direction, up to one and a half times the quoted body width. But there is no vertical stretch.
* As a result of the stretching, printed images on Women's Scoopneck Ts tend to open slightly, with fine white lines at regular spacing.


Washing instructions

For the best results when washing your t-shirt, please follow these guidelines:
* Wait one week (if possible) before washing your t-shirt for the first time.
* Turn the t-shirt inside out before washing.
* Wash by hand in warm water (if possible), or otherwise by machine at up to 40 degrees Celsius.
* Do not use bleach or fabric softener.
* If you use a tumble dryer, dry at low temperature, with the t-shirt still turned inside out.
* Iron with a hot iron after washing to enhance colours. However you must cover the image with a piece of clean white paper first. Do not touch the image directly with a hot iron.


Colour
All t-shirts are white. As much as there's a wish to offer a choice, the printing process used to make your t-shirt simply won't work as well on coloured shirts.


Image and text

We endeavour to place the image and text to scale and in the correct position on a medium (M) size t-shirt.


Quality

The shirts are high quality Hanes cotton t-shirts.


Worldwide Responsible Apparel Production (WRAP)
The majority of Hanes t-shirts are produced in self-owned plants which are WRAP-certified. WRAP is an independent non-profit corporation dedicated to the promotion and certification of lawful, humane and ethical manufacturing throughout the world. The program is a factory-based certification process, so each facility is certified individually. Facilities that participate in the program voluntarily agree that an independent monitor will evaluate the facility for compliance with agreed principles. WRAP will only issue certifications to qualified facilities, and the certification is granted for a period of only one year at a time. For more information about WRAP, see www.wrapapparel.org.
